Future Car 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, the ZL1 Convertible will getting ready to follow in its footsteps. chevrolet will be unveiling the brand’s most-powerful convertible ever in November at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. Sales will begin in late 2012.

The Camaro ZL1 will be one of the most powerful and most capable,  Al Oppenheiser Camaro chief said  “This is a car that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you drop the top – or hit the gas.”

The Camaro ZL1 will get a raised, carbon fiber insert, a front splitter, and new vertical fog lamps with air intakes designed for brake cooling. The hood features front-mounted air extractors with the center section made in satin black carbon fiber. At the rear, there will be a larger spoiler and diffuser while the car will sit on a new set of 20-inch forged aluminum wheels.

The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will be powered by LSA 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, rated at 580 HP and 556 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine will be combined with a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission that uses a 240-mm dual-mass flywheel matched with a 240-mm twin-disc clutch system to provide excellent shift smoothness.
