The
car tuning engineers at
Manhart Racing have revealed a powerful version of the
BMW Z4 with a
5.0-liter V10 engine
producing 550 horsepower. That is more than a 200 hp increase from the
factory 343 hp, and allows the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in only 3.9
seconds. Along with the new 5.0-liter engine swap are new catalytic
converters and a customized DME electronic control unit. To accomodate
the large
V10, the
Manhart Racing BMW Z4
received an M5 E60 6 gear m

a Fichtel and Sachs clutch. Fitted underneath is an AC Schnitzer
stainless steel exhaust system, and the new catalytic converters are
from the HJS racing series. Trying to keep the ten cyclinders glued to
the pavement are 235/35 ZR19 tires in the front, 285/30 ZR19 tires in
the rear, which come mounted on black BBS Challenge wheels.
